This is obviously up to Courtney, but I'd like to see the Fog of War included somehow in the upkeep/micromanagement side of the game. Maybe some kind of risk vs reward mission thing (sorta like the dumb assassin management side game in the AC games) that can be resolved with one roll. Also if Courtney is feeling lazy or only a couple of people turn up we could do a non story session where we go on a raid or something with the ship?

Committing actual piracy is so incredibly risky that it's not really covered in the downtime rules, because what if you roll a one? The Fog of War is scuttled by the Cheliax navy while you're off plundering a dungeon somewhere? That'd be pretty depressing. What I plan to do is continue with the parts of the plot of Skull and Shackles that I really like, so the micromanagement system of the Fog of War gaining infamy and plunder will still be in place, and the system of large scale ship-to-ship combat will be occassionally necessary on the high seas. And if you want to bolster your fleet, a visit to nearby Riddleport might be a good idea in future. It's pretty easy for me to toss in a random seafaring adventure whenever the ocean calls, because I can just adapt the parts of Skull and Shackles that I haven't used yet. At this point, I'm trying to think of the campaign as halfway between Rise of the Runelords and Skull and Shackles. A kinda "Skull and Runelords" sorta deal. Book 2 of Rise of the Runelords is way better than book 2 of Skull and Shackles, but book 3 and 4 of Skull and Shackles are amazing. I don't see any reason why we can't do both.

That's a good point. It would be good to be able to do something with them though, so they don't get too restless and pillage the town.

I defiantly want to get on the Fog of War at some point soon. The Glass works are obviously a priority at the moment. Once we start making some bank we can look at either fixing/upgrading the ship or kitting out our hideout...either way, I think we are gonna need a bit more GP before we really make a move on either of them.

Well... The pirates might not be restless for long. I probably don't even really need to point this out, but that Thistletop place where Nualia is supposedly hiding out? It is a seaside fort.
