Here's a table for tracking exactly where you stand on the spectrum of morality. What these points are actually used for is going to be an ancient Thassilonian mystery for now, but I will keep updating this after every game depending on how heinous or heroic your deeds are during the session. Assuming I remember to write them down... It's all a bit vague. I'm kinda wingin' it. Character | Envy | Charity | Gluttony | Temperance | Greed | Generosity | Lust | Love | Pride | Humility | Sloth | Zeal | Wrath | Kindness | Total
| Sunatra Azul | - | - | - | - | 4 | - | - | - | 1 | - | - | - | 4 | - |
| Thyros Dragonsbane | - | - | - | - | - | 1 | 2 | - | 1 | - | 3 | - | 3 | - |

Haha was Pinto the guy who got slaughtered in the crawlspace? Correct. He won a pie-eating contest, so he was the only one competing with you for gluttony.

I find it really difficult to distinguish between these categories of virtue and sin sometimes. What the hell is the difference between charity and generosity?

Would building that memorial and shrine of Erastil in the Catacombs of wrath change anything in here?
While I didn't want this system to influence what I actually do in game, it could be a good guideline for Henric to balance his lawful side with his evil side, which is something I wanted to play on a lot with the character.

An action like that would definitely contribute some points to humility and kindness. As far as your internal conflict goes, I think that's definitely in keeping with the theme of the Rise of the Runelords campaign, so I'll try and prepare for that a little better with your half-orc mentor, Father Lorgell Fendus for next time.

Anyone remember whose idea it was to stick Ripnugget's head in the toilet? I forgot to write it down.

are we able to get an updated version of this? it would be interesting to see. also, are there any penalties/bonuses to the points acquired? I edit the original post after every game, so this is the updated version. I usually give a quick rundown of what's changed in the "reason" field of the update too, but I couldn't fit it all in the character limit this time. The penalties/bonuses are basically done in multiples of five, so 5 points in Kindness will amount to +1 in Kindness, and a virtue is opposed by the adjacent sin. ie. Envy opposes Charity, Gluttony opposes Temperance, Greed opposes Generosity, etc. The actual in-game effects of this will not be physically manifest until much later in the game. I just thought it would be a bit more fun if you could be aware of how you were progressing. This way, you know that you are being judged for your every action, lest you come upon the part of the campaign where it actually matters and start complaining that you shouldn't be held to account for that lollipop you stole from that street urchin two years ago. So, at the time of this writing, Vae is considered +1 Kindness, Henric is +1 Wrath, Virgil is +1 Love, Morkus is +1 Lust and +1 Charity, and Rummy is slowly approaching a +1 in Gluttony. Does that sound about right? There are zero guidelines anywhere for determining how many actual "points" any of your actions are worth. I just drop a couple of points here are there whenever I feel like it might be appropriate.

Makes sense for Rummy. What on earth is Zeal about?

Makes sense for Rummy. What on earth is Zeal about? Good question. It is opposed by the sin of Sloth, so I interpret Zeal to be... The eagerness to do things? It's probably the hardest virtue to understand. This week, I've just given a point to every character involved in the thwarting of Nualia's plans.
